Dr. Lauren O'Hara is a Licensed Psychologist and founder of Pediatric Psychology of Wellesley. She has devoted her entire professional career to providing care to children, teens, and young adults. She has a particular expertise in assessment and treatment of youth impacted by neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), and ADHD, well as emotional and behavioral challenges of childhood (including anxiety and depression).

Her approach is results-oriented and scientifically driven. She believes that assessment and treatment must be individualized to promote meaningful change and family support and education is critical for the success of children.
Dr. O'Hara provides assessment for autism spectrum disorders for toddlers through young adulthood.

Comprehensive evaluations include intellectual, neurocognitive (learning, memory, problem solving, executive functions), academic, and social-emotional testing. The goal is to identify a child's strengths and needs and to guide academic and treatment planning. Evaluations are individualized based on specific concerns and goals of testing.
